I wanted to share with you two blog posts that were done through staff at The Colorado Coalition Against Sexual Assault (CCASA). If you have been a victim of sexual assault or abuse, the holidays can be especially difficult when you end up being in the same event as the person who sexually assaulted or abused you. Michelle Wolf and Kemi Chavez talk about this. Just in my office yesterday, I talked to a client about taking care of their own needs during the holidays even if family might not be supportive.
